Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam is exhibiting a selection of works from the contemporary art collection through October 12th, 2009.

Vintage Dan Graham – Projects for Publications, 1966 – 2009
Specific Object / David Platzker presents both artwork specifically created by Dan Graham for periodicals and other publications and Graham’s own writings on sex, drugs, rock-n-roll, art & architecture first seen in print between 1966 and 2009. On view at Specific Object from June 15 through September 18, 2009.
His hyper-ethereal poetic expression portrays youthful eroticised figures living in modern suburban settings. While the hues in Schmidberger’s paintings are deep and saturated, his color pencil on paper drawings are a blown-out wash of muted pastels, adding a hazy sun-bleached, mythological quality to his work.
