A sudden storm is arriving and although I am a (new) New Yorker I don’t feel anyone quite understands the weather here. Anyhoo hope to inspire with this lovely image!

His hyper-ethereal poetic expression portrays youthful eroticised figures living in modern suburban settings. While the hues in Schmidberger’s paintings are deep and saturated, his color pencil on paper drawings are a blown-out wash of muted pastels, adding a hazy sun-bleached, mythological quality to his work.
